Have some fucking respect!

This post will be a rant.  Warning:  There may be many F-words, S-words and probably C-words.  I’ve cut the post so you have the option of reading or not (if you’re a commenter from Despair.nu and don’t want to read on, feel free to comment on my last blog entry, I won’t report you).

YOU HAVE BEEN WARNED!

Okay, so I went to Nandos tonight to get dinner.  I fucking love Nandos right now – their food is so good.

So I ordered, and sat down to wait for my order (since they cook everything fresh).  As I was waiting, this woman (who seemed like a business woman, so we’ll call her BW) walked into the store and up to the counter.  The girl who works behind the counter was busy putting a meal together for another person who ordered takeout, but nonetheless BW insisted that she be priority.  So she waltzes up, and not even 2 seconds have past and she yells at the girl, “CAN I GET SOME SERVICE PLEASE?”.  Now come on, that was uncalled for.  I could understand if the girl was standing there not doing anything, or if it had been a couple of minutes or more, but BW had literally just got to the counter before yelling this bullshit.  So the girl (who I’m actually really proud of) came up and asked her what she would like.  BW replied, “JUST A SMALL CHIPS AND A SMALL COKE”.  I was thinking “Holy shit, calm down bitch”.  The girl, who is doing what she’s trained to do because I worked at Nandos [for a day lol] asked her, “Is that all?” and BW says, “I SAID THAT WAS ALL I WANTED”.  She paid for her $5.95 meal with a $50 note, got her change and stormed out of the store to one of the food court tables.  I actually was sitting there watching her with my jaw dropped.  How could someone be so fucking rude?  Then she comes up and stands by the waiting seat (which I was sitting on) and was huffing and puffing.  I got my meal, walked past her and gave her the biggest fucking greasies I’ve ever given someone.  I seriously would have punched her if it didn’t make me as bad as her.  This poor girl at Nandos is only doing her job, and providing BW a service, yet she treats her like scum.  I’m sorry, but just because someone works in fast food doesn’t mean they’re any lower than you, and seriously, where would our economy be without fast food?  Someone has to do this job so you fucking bigwigs can get your goddamn small chips and coke.

So, to BW, who’ll never read this: take your Botox lips, your patent leather handbag and your $5.95 chips and coke and SHOVE THEM UP YOUR ASS.

kthxbii.

you’re right, BW had no right to treat the poor fast food girl like that. If she wanted service staff who were drooling at her feet the moment she walked in, she should have gone to her mother’s home for tea.

But on a different note, I’ve never had Nando’s…I’ve walked past it tons of times…what kind of food do they have? x

It’s portuguese grilled chicken. It’s really good – I love it.

It never ceases to amaze me at how that happens… if it wasn’t busy, then it’s understandable that you you’re going to be serviced immediately.
I only start acting really bitchy if I’ve been waiting in line for a long time, and that if they’re doing it simply too slow, talking too slow, and giving change too slow.
My sister-in-law works at Nandos ^_^

Some people are pathetic excuses for human beings

That’s a story for the livejournal community, customers_suck. Those are what we like to call “entitlement bitches,” people who feel that they are speshul snowflakes and should be treated as so.

What a bitch! In fact, instead of reading BW “business woman,” I read it “bitch woman.” LOL! I don’t know what I would’ve done if I were you or the girl. I probably would’ve lost my job if I was the girl. If I were you, I would’ve probably said something very rude very loudly to bitch… err… business woman.

I read it as Bitch Woman too, lol. I hateee people like that, though. I used to work at a PetSmart in La Jolla, CA (a city basically in San Diego) and it’s just a really high class snotty community.. I dealt with some of the most disgustingly rude people.. and they would fight with you over who was right about things. Some people would try to tell me I didn’t know what I was talking about when I DID.. and they were really bitchy about it, too. Ugh.
And.. you handled it much better than I did. I would have gone off on her, lol.

unfortunately, the world is plagued with rude people here and there. She probably had a bad day but that’s not reason enough to act high and mighty at a fastfood chain :)

I used to work at a craft store and I would get some of the NASTIEST bitch customers on the face of this planet. Some of them were just unbelievable. I have a million stories from that damn place; I quit in September after working there for about 14 months and it still makes my blood boil to think about some of those customers.
