…with this site, I mean! I’ve put up a new layout (which I think is adorable!), so hopefully that will help keep my interest with blogging. It’s not that I don’t love to blog; things, as I mentioned in my last entry, have just been pretty hectic lately, and I’m just having trouble finding time for my recreational activities. Hell, I’ve barely messaged any of my Melbourne friends, and it’s been almost a month since we got here.
I’ll be heading down to the R.S.L. Club tonight, hang out with the ‘rents and take some photos, since it appears that I might be doing their website for them, which in turn means I might have a bit of money in my pocket very shortly. So I really want to make a good job of this, since it might be more work for me from that.
So sorry if there’s anything that looks skewy or anything right now up in here – let me know and I’ll fix it when I can.
Till next time…
I am soooo totally abandoning Inspirata. I have just been flat-out busy with moving, looking for work, helping my parents around their house, etc.
So we got here on the 3rd August (holy smokes, was that 20 days ago already?!), and we’ve pretty much immediately started looking for work. I’ve had one interview, but nothing has felt like it’s going any further than submitting my resume right now, which is kind of depressing. Michael is getting his RSA (Responsible Service of Alcohol), so he could do some bar work on a casual basis, but nothing has come up out of that either. So we’re just crossing our fingers for now.
Most of my visitors would already know, I guess, but I also got a haircut on Thursday, which I’m totally loving right now.

It’s nice to get up out of bed and not have to battle with my hair every morning – for reals, my hair used to take 10 minutes JUST to get the knots out. Now, I can literally run my fingers through and it’s done.
Not really much else going on – it’s just been trying to find work, really. Will keep y’all updated
Yesterday, Michael and I both went in for tattoos. This was my 3rd tattoo (or techinically, 3rd and 4th, but since they go together I’ll count it as one), and Michael’s first.
All I can tell you about mine is that they HURT LIKE CRAZY! But so worth it for the outcome. And Michael came away with a BEAUTIFUL tattoo. Check ‘em out (click for larger):
