Work, Work, Work

Even though I’m unemployed in the traditional sense, I’m finding that I’m continuing to have as much work to do as I ever have.
Like right now, I’m getting all my business stuff together (business cards, contracts, etc.) and also putting together flyers and such for my parents’ business. Mum has offered to ‘hire’ me as secretary for them – with a very minimum wage until they get more business (about $50 a week) but when they’re paying for so much for me, they may as well not pay me at all – which I don’t mind.

Anyway, I’m attempting NaBloPoMo this month – wish me luck, and thanks to you all for your comments on my last post; I’m really ecstatic that I have so much support :)

At least your family offered you with a bit of work, it’s gonna help you in being more productive while you don’t have a job yet, right? :) Heehee. Good luck with that!

Well, yeah. Although it’s enough work already trying to get my own business off the ground :)

Congrats! Owning your own business is a lot of work, but it’s YOURS. It’s something to call your own. I wish you lots of luck. Although it seems like you’re doing just fine.

I started my own business a few months back. I have yet to get it off the ground. I got as far as getting the domain, creating the business cards and getting them printed out, ordered some order forms and uniform shirts, but then stopped. It sucks that it takes money to make money lol.

Some money is definitely better than no money! :) At least your family is willing to pay you some money for helping them out. Also per your last post, congrats on having your own business, hun. Good luck to setting all of that up. I know having your own business can be a roller coaster ride at times but definitely worth it!!
