I started this beanie/hat/thing last night, at about 12:30pm, after finding my yarn and needles in a box that we’d brought around from the storage shed. I found a pattern here and decided it sounded simple enough (and it really was!). This is the FIRST knitting project that I’ve actually completed – I’ve started many others but they’ve either sat unfinished or I’ve pulled them apart.
I LOVE IT!

Now, I only need to finish my scarf I started nearly 12 months ago, and I’ll be ready for winter!

Dude, I’m the most impatient person around, and I still did it
It took me less than 5 hours – I started after 12:30am this morning and knitted through till about quarter to 3am, and then again today from about 1pm-ish and finished it just after 2, I think. It didn’t take long at all! And it’s so simple – it’s just a straight needle pattern. Sooooo easy
Yeah? I admire your faith! I knitted a scarf once & it took me 3 months
And that didn’t even have a pattern

I’ve been working on my scarf for 12 months – well, 6 of that it was in storage, but yeah. Still, I hope to have it finished this weekend, so I can go on to something else
WOW, that looks great! OMG I love it so much…and it’s pink!

I’m definitely gonna bookmark that pattern and try it out, thanks for providing the link. You look so cute!
