I will never tire of…
As part of my encouragement to get blogging again, I’m following a list of things to blog and/or post about (seeing as some are pictures). I’m not particularly interested in following the list in order, and I’ve already missed a couple of days so it’s not going to be perfect, but it’s a good guide to get some blog writing going.
I will never tire of spending time with my husband. As much as we can clash at times – and I mean clash – I have never been so in love or so devoted to anyone or anything in my entire life. If you know me personally, you’ll know that I’m such an independent person and I love my personal space and time alone. I would give all of those ideals up if it meant I never had to spend another day without him.
I will never tire of sitting in front of the computer. I’m a total geek and if I could, I’d spend all day here. I listen to my podcasts, I visit forums (hai youz @ Veracity!), I surf the web, I type blog entries (sometimes…), I just love my computer and sitting down to relax in front of it.
I will never tire of having pets. My pets complete my life. They’re our babies, and always will be. They love us unconditionally and never hold grudges. They snuggle you when you’re sad and get you up when you’re down. As much as it drives me nuts that they wake up at 2 and 3 o’clock in the morning, I’d do anything for them.
I will never tire of driving. I’ve always loved driving, and since getting my licence at the end of October, I can’t get enough. Sure, fuel is expensive and maintenance is a bitch, but just being able to get up, get in the car and go whenever I feel like gives me the most incredible sense of freedom I’ve never felt before.
I will never tire of Vera Wang Princess perfume. It’s become my signature scent and I just adore it. The best thing happened the other day – Michael came into the bedroom, while I was putting my makeup on, to say goodbye. He reached out for a hug and asked me if I’d put my perfume on, because during the day he’d occasionally get a whiff of it and it would remind him of me. <3
I will never tire of true friendship. Growing up and being in the workforce has proven to me who my real friends are – they’re the ones who’ll stand up for you, tell you if someone has gone behind your back, invite you into their homes when you show up unannounced, and spend time with you even if you’re feeling like you’re being overbearing.
I will never tire of nature. My spirituality is a huge part of me and some nights I look up at the moon and I can just feel the energy of the earth under my feet. As much as I am a technology geek and could never live without my computer or iPhone, I do love being out in nature and I always feel better after that reconnection.
What will you never tire of?
