The Intro

*yawn* (by Inspirata [Terri])I don’t think that anyone is ever any good at talking about themselves (except, maybe, Paris Hilton or someone like that). Describing my life so far might phase some people as boring, but I know other people love to know every little aspect of another’s life (stalkers…), so this is for the benefit of those people. In fact, they’re probably the only people who’ve come to this page in the first place, so there’s no need for me to explain.

The Upbringing

So to get the basics out of the way, I was born on the 14th February 1988 (making me 22) in the island state of Tasmania, Australia. I was brought up in a house located in a rural area, surrounded by farms and bushland, and my childhood, whilst not perfect, was pretty great (in retrospect!). I have an older half-sister, Alisha, who is six years older than me, and a younger brother, Sam, who is two years younger. We pretty much had full run of about 4 acres of land, and more beyond that if we dared leave the property, and for the first 10-11 years of my life, I spent plenty of time outdoors, playing with the dog, riding my bike, walking through bush tracks my dad had mown for us.

The Computer

That was, until we bought our first computer. I’d always been interested in computers, at school and such, but never obsessed or anything – I could take ‘em or leave ‘em. But when we got our own, and then got the internet, I was completely fascinated. From that point on, I started spending much more time inside! I would sit at the computer for all the spare time I had, and eventually found the infamous Expages. I generated my very first website, slowly taught myself HTML and CSS, and the rest is history.

The Image

I’d never seen myself as a hugely attractive girl – there were always the prettier girls around me, and I was never part of the ‘cool’ or ‘in’ crowd. It did take me a long time to come to terms with the fact I would never be a size 8 with huge boobs and blonde hair, but as much as I kind of wanted to fit in with the ‘cool’ people, part of me knew that I couldn’t, and shouldn’t. I soon found out why; they were all backstabbing, manipulative, materialistic bitches who had no idea what real life and struggle was all about, since they had everything handed to them on a silver platter. Right now, I’m about 176cm (5′9″ish), with brown, curly hair, and I’m overweight (but working on it!!!). I have indulged in body modifications – the process fascinates me and I love the rush that getting a piercing or a tattoo gives me; my body is a temple, and I’m merely decorating! I currently have ten piercings, and four tattoos (photoshere). Additionally, I wear glasses due to astigmatism in both eyes. Therefore, I consider myself a bit of a freak and a bit of a geek – and I love it! I love my uniqueness, and while I sometimes do get down about my looks (mainly my weight), I’m pretty happy with myself. If you asked me one thing I love about physical self, it would be my eyes, and about my mental self, it would be my quirkiness. I’m a total freak but I don’t give a damn about what people think any more.

The Indulgences

What else? Well, I love listening to good music (which there’s not a whole lot of these days – the ’80s and ’90s ruled for music!), as well as podcasts. I love good food – Indian food is probably my favourite, followed by Mexican, Italian and then other Asian dishes. I lurve to shop, although not really for clothing – I prefer makeup, games, anything other than clothes, really. Conspiracy theories and the supernatural have always interested me as well – UFOs, ghosts, etc. as well as mythology and the Occult. I also love to have Deep & Meaningful (D&M) conversations, particularly about spirituality, what we’re doing here, etc.

I have a mad obsession with the colour pink – I hated pink as a young kid, and now I think I’m making up for it! My phone cover is pink, my iPod is pink, my laptop is pink, my desktop computer has a pink ‘Start’ button and I won’t use a desktop wallpaper if it doesn’t have pink in it. I might grow out of it, but I doubt it!!!

The Icky

And, not to dwell on the things that I hate, but: cheaters, backstabbers, rapists, racists and bigots, intense heat, war, fundamentalists (from any religion), pimples, spiders, hackers, suppressors, periods, mushrooms, tomatoes, celery, classical and country music – that pretty much does it.
