New Haircut :)
I got my haircut again today – can you believe it’s been just over 5 months since my last haircut? Me neither.
I think it’s really cute
Oh, new layout now too – it is also pretty cute.

So I haven’t blogged for a while (again). I get so sidetracked from blogging because I’m doing so many other things at once. I need to make an effort to blog at least once a week, seriously, otherwise this is going to get really boring and no-one will come here any more haha! Not that many people do, I don’t think.
Anyway, I’m thinking about a new layout for Inspirata but my creativity has gone out the window for a while and won’t be returning soon. I’ve managed to get my fanlisting collective a new layout, see here, but that’s as far as my creativity has taken me. I’ve been approved for quite a few different fanlistings recently, and I’ve only got one more to get up (the N.E.R.D. fanlisting), so all the others are ready and raring to go (and you can see them all at that previous link).
Yesterday I received a nice parcel in the mail – my mum bought me Proactiv for my acne, so that’s awesome, can’t wait to start seeing results. I’ve really been breaking out a lot lately, I don’t know whether its due to diet or what but anyway, hopefully this will help.
I’ve also managed to stop biting my nails, and I’ve painted them so the temptation is no longer there. I’m pretty proud of myself – this is the first time I’ve stopped biting them in pretty much 16-17 years, since I’ve had teeth! Michael’s nails still look better than mine, but as long as the skin around the nail cleans itself up from all the tattering I’ve done to it over the years, then my fingers will be looking pretty in no time. Shame that I know that longer fingernails means I can’t type as well, but I’ll get over it and manage. I mean, I guess the only time I’ve had longer nails is when I’ve had fake ones on, and that’s like a sudden ‘BAM!’ new longer nails, and you have to get used to it pretty quickly, but with natural nails its just a matter of natural adaption over the time they grow. And here I am babbling on about fingernails, sheesh.
It’s only, like, a month till Christmas. I can’t believe it. I’m going to be so freakin’ exhausted over the Christmas break. For one, I don’t even get much of a break. At my work, we only get the main days off (Christmas Day, Boxing Day and New Year’s Day), and I only work three days a week. So I’ve organised with my boss to work the Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday before Christmas, head down to Tassie on the Thursday morning, spend all day Thursday, Friday, Saturday, Sunday, Monday(25th) and Tuesday(26th) there, then head back to Melbourne on Wednesday morning to work Thursday and Friday – PHEW! Then I get another day off the following week for New Year, which luckily falls on a Monday (one of my three working days per week). I have to organise to go full time at some point, so that I can take proper leave. Working part-time doesn’t get you many hours annual leave accrual.
Amelia’s baby (they’ve already named him Jonah) is due any minute now. She was due last Wednesday, so if she hasn’t had him by I think Thursday she’s going to have to be induced – he’s apparently a big baby so he can’t stay in there for too long! We’re all waiting for the phone call…
Anyway, I think I’ve babbled enough about stuff you guys aren’t even interested in! I gotta work out what I’m going to do with Break-Glass.Org – I think it will be a portfolio but I’m not sure yet.
