WoW, Websites and Workless

My latest re-obsession is WoW. I have been playing it heaps since getting the new expansion. I bought it on the 24th November, and whilst I know that a lot of people already have level 80s, it’s really something for me to have levelled 5 levels already. With The Burning Crusade, once I got to level 70 I got bored, so I didn’t play for three months. There’s only so many dailies you can do before boredom sets in, so I dropped it and played The Sims 2 all the time, but now WoW is back in my life :P

I’ve also been working on a few websites – I have two on the go at the moment, one for my parents and their new business (TBA!) and another for a friend in the Pagan community. I actually have 2 or 3 lined up for my friend, but we’re taking them one at a time, and I’m just waiting to get the info through from him so we can go live asap. As for mum and dad’s business, they’re at an accountant right now working out the details, but their site should be going live on Monday, which is really exciting and hopefully, if it gets as big as we hope it does, it will almost be a full-time job for me.

Speaking of jobs, I am still out of work. I am literally going crazy, because Michael and I really want to buy a house soon, and without us both having jobs, there’s no chance of a loan. I have applied for all the jobs I feel I would be suitable for, as well as expressing interest to quite a few places, and only a couple of them have got back to me. It’s so frustrating because by now, I thought we would be up and out of my parents’ place and being totally independent, but it just hasn’t turned out that way. I guess everything happens for a reason, so there’s no need to get stressed out yet; it will come. But still, it’s really annoying.

Anyway, that’s about it for now. I will hopefully have better news next time >_<
